Skin models for Naomi Campbell's Fashion for relief

Twas alot of fun, spent most of the evening chatting to David G (that guy in pants THAT D&G advert) and Freddie Fintoff. Both were totally sweethearts! Finally met Nicola from Girls Aloud, quite shy and lovely. Everyone was so happy to be there and Naomi was on top form, looking wonderful working the room, great atmosphere and we raised £1.4m !!! WELL DONE Naomi!! Well done US!

R.I.P. ALEXANDER McQUEEN

For me he was not only one of the greatest designers of all time but also a lovely, sweet down to earth eastender. I will miss him greatly, no one can ever replace his talent, his very cheeky wit and warm smile.

Precious by name...

This is a must see life changing movie.
Its a long time since a film has actually truly moved me to my core but this film does it. Whatever you are doing, wherever you are in life you HAVE to see this movie. Adapted from the novel 'Push' by sapphire it follows the life and times of Claireece 'Precious' Jones a 16 yr girl who's been abused by her father. Now that may sound incredibly depressing and it was true to say my tears did roll on more than one occasion BUT this is perfectly balanced against some hilarious moments, the casting is genius, the banter between her class mates is inspired and the filming magnificent. We live in horribly shallow times so its wonderful to see something with depth, beauty and heart.
Do yourself a favour, go see this film, you'll never regret it.

The Getty Villa, Mailbu

I couldn't resist passing by The Getty Villa in Malibu on my travels through Los Angeles, it houses J.Paul Getty's original Art collection, silly me thought I was off to see the house where they all lived (shoulda done my research as he never saw it completed even though he died two years after its completion) but instead I was treated to his re-incarnation of the famous Villa of the Papyri, wonderful but nowhere near as much fun. So if you are interested in stunning ancient antiquities that catapulte you back to the days when robes and whippings were a must, your'e in for a wonderful treat but if you , like me, wanted to see worn patches on leather armchairs or a dressing table covered in divorce papers next to a silk dressing gown, a cigar and a ransom note, you'll be bitterly disappointed.

Hello sweet blog victims, I must firstly apologise for leaving you with nothing but a scowling Ace for a while, my facebook friends will know that I've been zipping around the planet faster than a speeding Schumacher (sorry Lewis...Jenson..whatever) and while that's no excuse for my lazy fingers its the only one your gettin'.
I spent a whole month on the other side of the planet with my better half and we had a gay old time! I'll post a couple of cute pics for your delectation, but now I'm in freezing cold Berlin, back to work with a bang and enjoying every minute. Trying to conquer sleep has been a little bit testing hence the early morning blog but everything has its up side and mine starts now. Enjoy!

My New Favourite shop in LA has to be Zenbunni in Santa Monica, two very charming shopkeepers in the guise of Zen (he) and Bunni (she) not forgetting the two cutest pups on the planet, host a marvelous collection of curiosities from jewellery to snakeskin chains, stunning nude photography taken and printed by Bunni herself, to vintage tees and scarves, not forgetting raw organic chocolate made by themselves which is the best I've ever tasted. Definitely a place for those with a taste for beauty with a curious edge. I purchased this gorgeous spider ring that snaps apart to make a bracelet. Apparently it was soooo difficult to make the designer stopped at the one, green anyone.

When to see the last performance before they back up they're tights and tidy-up the clown-face, totally loved it! another sweet suprise from the heavenly other half! If you get a chance go see it, you'll love it!

BAND OF SKULLS ROCK THE TROUBADOUR IN LOS ANGELES

FIRSTLY, I must start off by saying my girl ROCKS!! she found out my favorite new band, BAND OF SKULLS, were playing in LA and snatched up some tickets! Of course me being annoying inquisitive, I totally guested my surprise beforehand (I had to! its very hard to dress for a surprise you know!) So I spent the whole day banging out their album in readiness for my evening of es tasty and estasty it was!

Out of Southampton, Bass Player Emma Richardson, Guitarist Russell Marsden and Drummer Matthew Hayward were truly magnificent, Russell needs a special mention as I have to say he's one of the best axeman I've seen in many many years, a stunning player, he's got it all, sound, touch, melody and most of all feel, a beautiful player that I could watch till the cows come home, make coco and curl up in a bed of hay and cacofiny of farts.
Bass player Emma is solid as a rock, a Kilimanjaro size of piece of granite in fact. I thought my bass player was cool but this girl is ice-tastic, can I say a 21st century Chrissie Hynde?, all black, all legs, killer-stare and with a clear calm distinctive voice, I love her. Extra special mention also goes to drummer Matthew, he plays drums like he has a personal vendetta against them and as he sips blood red wine between tracks, he get meaner and more hateful towards them, muttering letting them know who's the fucking boss on this stage baby, and just when you thought he's avenged his demons he whips out a guitar and delicately strums it like its his firstborn. A very talented threesome indeed, and as a band they just fit, it works, they gel and sound absolutely fucking incredible. American radio are beginning to love them but lets hope we get a chance to love them in the UK too, either way I truly hope this band get the adoration, love and respect they truly truly deserve cos they're one of the best bands to come out of the UK in a very long time.
